Nick’s story is so important. A staunch reminder to check in with the helpers too. They can’t and shouldn’t carry it all. I wish there was more to the rest of the book, though. It’s nice and thick, but smooshing booties isn’t a storyline. I felt that the rest of the kids deserved more time.
Honestly, same issue as the last book. Since the show had already taken liberties with the story, they could have enriched the plot for the other characters. I also didn’t feel that the seriousness of Nick’s story translated over to screen. There were unnecessary changes, and it felt too rushed.
These sunnies hold up to their claims. They’re light, clear, and they stay in place even on a sweaty Summer run. Haven’t left home without them since they arrived.
I’m not sure anyone will ever crack the code on ‘protein powder flavour, ‘ but these guys have come pretty dang close! Even the flavours I didn’t think I’d like have been surprisingly good, and with some minimal tweaking, the ones I don’t love are drinkable. My current favourite is the Chai.
